We found out yesterday, that just after my wife re-renlisted for the reserves, as an MP, that she's getting deployed to the 'Stan' next AUG 2012. Lovely. We have four kids, but it will all work out. Hopefully my Fabrication business will be ramped up to a decent level by then. Take care

Hey Adam, I hear you. I don't know that there is ever a good answer to when to leave. I certainly don't have an one. I would have to believe the military commanders are far better at making those decisions than I.

I don't want this to sound disrespectful. It's not meant to be. But at some point, we will leave and I know without a doubt, it will be a better place when we do. However, at some point before then the ANA also needs to take command and fight using the tools and training that have been given them by guys like you or, as you suggest, the Taliban will have won.

Thank you for what you do. I can't say that loud enough.

after 6 pages I'm sure theyve covered the tacoma stuff, but in your picture there's a problem with how your wearing your plate carrier. The front is really low, try raising it so that the top of the plate sits about 2 inches below V in your neck where your sternum starts. It will seem high and like it leave a lot of your gut unprotected, put more of your vitals will be protected this way. Stay safe man!

The parallels between the ANAs and the ARVNs and their situations are almost identical.
