I just bought brand new, never installed updated oem leaf packs for my 08. Right now I have the stock 2 leaf pack with a skyjacker 2" lift spring. wondering if I should install the new spring pack with or without the skyjacker spring. Right now I have stock looking rake. I don't know if the skyjacker leaf with new packs will put too much lift. I'm good if the new springs alone just make it level. Any advice or info is grateful.

The "new OEM" leafs are going to sag in no time - I would add what you've got IMO

Totally agree with this.... within 6 months, any rake that you get with the new springs will be gone.

    Hi Rob,

You will need the extra leaf or your front end will be higher than the rear, even before settling. I had my spring packs replaced by the dealer a few months ago under the recall. My front springs are 883s, with the factory rear springs my truck is about level. If you have 885s, your front end will be about another inch and a half higher. I really miss the rake I had with an extra leaf in my old packs.
