Who can help me with this ... My stock tacoma seems like it has a bit of a sag in the back, we have been looking into getting a Bed rack and tent so thats going to add a few hundred extra pounds, I have found the OME spring packs which state they allow for 660 pounds over stock i just recently found a helper spring setup that states to allow 1100 pounds over stock. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of going with one over the other ?

Whole leaf pack replacement will always be the better choice over helper springs with a sagging factory pack. Ride quality will also be better with or without a loaded bed with the OME pack. This answer would also apply with an aal setup vs a whole leaf pack .

I had a OEM leaf pack + AAL. Stock springs were sagging, even with AAL. Installing an AAL won't 'unsag' your OEM springs, but you will get lift.

Yep, get ready for squeaky leaf springs. OME for 2nd gen are notorious for this.

If it's not too late to cancel your order, go to Exit Offroad (@Crikeymike ) and get a set of the Dobinson's leaf springs.

Thanks for the tag. The 3 different Dobinsons leaf packs just came back into stock, but the 111R's will run out again here in a day or 2...

OP, a full leaf pack will generally always work better at carrying a constant load than adding a helper spring to the stock leaf pack.
