Just bought a 2023 red SR crew cab, 4-cylinder, 2-wheel drive. It does not come with a receptacle for a trailer hitch. I do not plan on towing anything but would like to use a bike rack. There is an OEM “reinforcement bar” listed for a 2021 Tacoma (part #52023-04010) for $190 that would include the receptacle. I have not found a similar listing for a 2023 Tacoma. Will this part fit my truck?

    Thanks

you won't need to add a wiring harness if you are just using a bike rack.

Thanks. I would prefer to have an OEM part. Agree about the wiring, no need if I am only using it to mount a bike rack.

52023-04010 is the reinforcement bar that comes on trucks without a hitch -- it's what you already have.

51908-04020 is for the hitch, and is considerably more expensive.
