I just installed a new steering rack from LCE and it looks like it’s leaking a wee bit of oil. Has me concerned. I dry fit it last night and it was supported level on jackstands overnight. I just bolted it in and hooked up the new power steering hoses and noticed the oil residue around this spot and a small puddle on the ground under it. There is no power steering fluid in the lines, they’re new and dry. Did I get a lemon? It seems to only be at this spot under this bolt in the picture. And that little bolt is tight.

Now I’m worried I got a defective part I’ll have to return and it’ll slow down my progress

Probably just oil from the assembly process.
