Honestly I have never been a big fan of Jensen. There specs always look on par with everything else but in my opinion the sound quality and product quality are always lacking. Plus for $400 you can get a much nicer unit by a more reputable company such as pioneer or kenwood. Just my $0.02

To me, a flip out screen is just something else to break.

There are radios that have the screen fixed, which is what I would get if I were to. My question about getting a built in nav system is updates. Do you get them online, download to a flash and upload to the radio?

However my biggest gripe about aftermarket radios is small knobs. Everyone I've ever seen are all so small or loaded with buttons. Main reason I like factory radios.

x2. Jensen has always been regaurded as cheap junk. Everyone I knew that had Jensen, ended up having to replace their equipment a few years later. This was many years ago.

Spend the money & go with one of the major players.

Just got a JVC avx840, pretty awesome sound and you can use your iPhone for navigation instead of paying extra for the navi add on

i had that model in my previous truck .. lasted about a year and a half, wasn't too bad, ipod control was pretty slow, kind of annoying. Screen seemed to work alright never had any mechanical issues, it would overheat sometimes and lock up, eventually it just died. I would listen to the others and spend a couple hundred extra and get something better
