Originally developed years ago for our Type III IFS RCLT HD Race Teams to reinforce the strut towers of V8-powered Ultra4 4Runners, these Strut Tower Reinforcement Rings are designed to handle the toughest of conditions.

Laser-cut from 3/16″ USA steel, these weld-on plates increase the factory frame thickness by 2.5X, reinforcing a critical area of the front suspension. By distributing loads more effectively, they help prevent cracking and significantly increase frame longevity.

    Available for:
    1995-2004 Tacoma & 1996-2002 4Runner
    2005-2023 Tacoma, 2003-2024 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Lexus GX470/GX460

For only $29 to $34 per pair, it's a small investment that provides big protection.

    Additional Notes

Our rings are designed to sit flush and to not interfere with factory ABS and wiring harness mounts. Torquing all nuts prior to weld will close any gaps.

If your frame is already damaged, it must be repaired to ensure the strut assembly and reinforcement rings sit flush. Toyota still offers replacement strut/shock tower assemblies, but at $700 per side, the cost doesn't stop there. Proper replacement requires cutting the old tower off, then properly re-aligning and fully welding the new one in place—a job that demands cab (or full body) removal, engine removal, and extensive shop labor. Prevent the headache with our reinforcement rings before frame fatigue becomes a costly disaster!
