I took my truck in and had new struts installed and a front end alignment. it drives like a new truck now. it was 630.08 for everything from Toyota

They are shocks, not struts, since you have an upper control arm in the front.

Glad to hear the stockers lasted over 140k. You must not be hammering that truck too hard :)

Nice feeling eh? When the truck drives like new, you fall in love all over again.

Well this says different. Also the Toyota calls them a strut. So I’m going to call them what’s on the paperwork. Lol
A vehicle will have either a shockor a strut at each wheel, never both. ... The major difference between shocks and struts is that a strut is a structural part of the vehicles suspension system where a shock is not. A strut is also crucial part of the vehicles steering system and greatly affects alignment angles.
