Okay I got you now! Well do you think I should get a different pair of 10inch shallows then? You seem like you think they are of lesser quality...I'm just not wanting to pay 200 a piece for JLs tbh.

I never questioned their quality. I just don't think they'll tolerate much more than rated power. That said, they would not be my first choice. Since you're facing a depth restriction though, your choices are limited.

Very and I don't see the need to spend 100-200 more on a pair of JL.
Anyway, so to power the door speakers, that AmP will be a decent choice? Thanks again for all this help, it's much appreciated

No, that's a monoblock for the sub...never mentioned an amp for the door speakers. Maybe bridge a 4-channel for a bit of future-proofing and headroom? Budget?

I think the Rockford will be okay for what you have.

Post the model# of your other speakers if you want help with an amp for that.

I have Rockford 1" tweets and 6x9s in my single cab, using a Megaloud 100x2..was a local guy who made them but he competed with them. I'd consider it comparable to the Rockford line.

Yep, possibly a good choice for a 5-channel amp. Many folks on DIYMA are using the NVX with good results.
