So I’m not to sure on the whole suspension stuff yet, still learning more about it. Right now I have basic spacer lift and I know I should’ve spent the extra money and boughten a new suspension. I wasn’t able to at the time but now I can and I’m debating on what to get. I’m debating on either getting the Bilsteins 6112 or kings, seems like they’re pretty different to me. I’m honestly leaning more towards bilsteins because of the price and then I can just purchase other things for the truck if I go that route. Getting kings would be cool but I don’t go off-roading that much so I doubt I will even use the king shocks for what they’re meant for. What I’m looking for mainly is to be able to go off-roading every once in a while, nothing crazy and to have a better ride quality. I also want to be able to install my front cbi bumper without having any weight issues but also adding more weight to the truck later on. Also if I go with bilsteins, will I need to buy anything extra or will the kit from r4t come with everything I need?

what do you guys think if I install my bumper before I get my suspension? People keep telling me I brake to hard to then I may end up lifting from the back so I shouldn’t do it until I upgrade my suspension.

It pretty much sounds like I’m gonna go with bilsteins but what do you guys think?

Get the bilstein 6112's with the upgraded 650lb spring. Better ride on and off road as well as enough strength to hold up the bumper

I’ve got Kings and barely ever go off-road. It wasn’t my intention in the first place, but life gets in the way and I moved away from the California desert so she’s basically a pavement princess now. But I wouldn’t trade the kings for anything else. I love how it’s rides and responds. But honestly you should hit up Accutune. Give them a call and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

If price is no object, you'll probably be happy with Kings.

But they are totally different from Bilstein because Kings are linear valving and Bilstein is digressive, Accutune has some good articles on the difference, figure out which sounds good to you.
