2019 OR. Looking to upgrade the grille to black it out some more. Any recommendations on one? Will the TRD pro fit?

Prefer to keep the same size wheels and use the stock tires for a while, anyone got any pics of theirs (black) with the magnetic gray?

Any other recommendations for mods or accessories (Already bought the H11 GE 130 bulbs).

It’s a beauty, welcome to TW. Pro grilles are good, just do the research or wind up buying it twice like me (look through my posts - TLDR avoid vendor madhornets for a pro grill)

Yeah, funny I bought my first Tacoma in 2002, it was a used 2000 access cab 4x4. Traded it in in 2008 for a used 2007 double cab long bed, Prerunner. Just traded that one in in last Sept. for a new '18 TRD Off Road 4x4....and then I find Tacomaworld. I've been living in a kind of "mod hell" ever since!
Lots of threads on grill upgrades. I've done it with an ebay Pro replica and separately purchased the sensor garnish. I'm no mechanic and it was easy and have not had any issues since installed...ever! Just go on youtube and find a how to video. From there, just keep coming back here to TW and enjoy your new truck and ever diminishing bank account!

    Welcome!

Tons of threads on this. The most common, useful upgrades among the threads are the Salex console and glove compartment organizers, as well as all-weather floor mats and a bed mat.

As far as the grille, I had the chrome bezel wrapped in matte black - really like the look and doesn't make me a "poser" by having the pro grille. Not that it necessarily makes you one, but just my view. For reference:

While I was having the front two windows tinted, I asked the shop if they would wrap the chrome bezel as well - came out to just over $200 for the windows and bezel combined. I felt that was fair and convenient for my time.

Nice, it looks great man. I may do that instead of painting it. Is there a seam or did they use a sheet larger than the bezel?

Thanks very much! To my knowledge, small sheets were used around the seam, as the grille insert itself did not require removal. I figured that wrapping would be better than painting, as it will protect the plasti-chrome underneath, allowing for its stock appearance in the event of a sale down the road.

maybe, maybe not. you'll find out w/in a few months. i had 3M 1080 wrap on my last car's grill. it did well for looks, but w/in 2 months it was marked up with road rash from debris and a few rock strikes tore up the vinyl a bit and even marked the grill beneath it. in other words, it did what you're hoping pretty well but far from perfect.

I really like that grill. How much do they usually run? Any issues with the radar sensor being blocked?

I paid $97 for the grill and an additional $51 for the sensor garnish. The garnish is the clear plastic / acrylic piece you see under the letters "Y-O" and it protects the sensor and allows it to function properly. No issues ever!

    Like, so many.

Got this from the dealer. It's part of the XSP package. I think it cost $125.
