I think the Fox suspension is well dialed in for a factory option. It handles on-road very well and seems quite planted at highway speeds (75+ MPH in Texas). I have been quite pleased so far off road. My off-road has been in Central Texas which is rocky, hilly country and the ride is comfortable.
This being my first Tacoma, I'm not sure I have a legitimate comparison to other Tacoma suspensions, but I feel the ride is compliant and comfortable. To be honest, I still have to keep reminding myself not to touch the suspension, as it's the main reason you buy a PRO, right? I don't feel the need to mess with the suspension because I'm dissatisfied with it, but because I would like a tad more lift and mostly I have a hard time leaving trucks alone. I think I will just get a small spacer (2" or less) if they are available and don't cause any issues. I have to research this option.
So, this was a long way to say the Fox Suspension is really good.
