so to confirm the 3 leaf aal is correct, compared to the single aal?

Makes sense, i figured weight had something to do with it.
    Thanks again everyone!

    Yes

A progressive (3 leaf) aal will be more compliant without a load, and yet retain carrying a load just fine as well.
It has 3 thin leaves to be compliant instead of 1 single thick leaf which will be a rougher ride unloaded.

If u haul on the regular, keep your stock overload leaf (bottom short 1) in place.... if u dont regularly haul a load, take it out

I have mine out, and carried 2200lbs of pavers (weighed afterwards like an idiot)... never bottomed out

I got that same kit from Headstrong for my truck, great company and fast, free shipping.

    Bilstein 5100
    OME 2885
    SPC Light Racing UCA's
Assembled coils (the extra $100 is well worth it)
    Came with 1/4" spacer included
I got 1-1/2" blocks for the rear but I am replacing with the 3 leaf AAL soon.

This kit will get you right here.

If you keep stock rims you will definitely want to run wheel spacers. I have 9" rims with 4.5" bs and 0 offset which stick out from the fenders about 3/4" in the front and just over an inch in the rear.

Why would he need wheel spacers?

    Welcome!!

    2008 dblcb SR7 TRD OR 112000 miles

Hey! How's your frame? How many miles?

When they replaced my frame, I had Bilstein 5100s x 4, with front @ 1.75 in, Toytech AAL rear with the new replacement Toyota leafs installed. I had General 265-75-16 Altimax tires placed on stock rims. So lifted about 2in. Looks and handles great!! (No pix as is mid winter here).
UCA's in good shape and LCA's replaced with frame.

When you lift the truck it pulls the front wheels inward so much that it looks ridiculous. Just my opinion

A different backspaced and offset rim will correct.

I think my frame is in fine shape. Is there a specific spot to check for the rust?
140000 miles with all service done at the dealer, or so it seems.
