So I'm now the proud owner my dream Truck, a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport in Silver Sky Metallic. This is my first truck and so far I'm in love. I've had her for about a week and 250 miles and I don't think I'll ever go back to driving lowered cars again. (Although I still have my 81' Corolla for those days I miss driving low Lol!) So far the only things I've done are The LED interior/plate lights, tinted the front windows, and detailed & applied sealant to the paint to keep it fresh. I just recently ordered LED low beam and fog bulbs which should be here in a few days. I've heard mixed reviews on these do hopefully they work well. I have a few more things I'd like to do to it but for now I just want to enjoy it. Any tip/advice anyone has I'd like to hear em. Here's a few pics of her. Enjoy.

Bed mats are nice. Keeps things from flying all over in the bed!

You talking about the covers that go over top or actual mats that lay in the bed of the truck?

welcome to Tacoma world and congrats on your new ride.this is my 3rd taco and I have enjoyed everyone of them.I work for Subaru but I am a Toyota guy and love these trucks so I am sure you will get the most out of yours.I also have led interior lights and low beams and fogs on mine and they work great and are plug and play, interior lights came from diode dynamics and fogs came from them also and low beams are opt7 and they all are great.enjoy your new ride.

    Welcome, and nice truck!

I also made the jump from having nothing but modified and low vehicles, to buying my first truck ('17 Tacoma TRD Sport). I miss the power and fun-factor of my Evo 8 I sold to get the truck but love the practicality, daily-ability and comfort of the truck.

    Like, so many.
I was a sports car guy too. I can't go back. What's on your mod list? You have a mod list, right? If not, just go ahead and leave now and save yourself a boatload of money. Otherwise...
    bed mat
    tonneau cover (soft topper?)
    tires (265/75/17 AT)
    wheels (0 offset at least)
    Hondo garage radio knobs
SSO slimline bumper (group buy happening right now!)
    BAMF Eco grille
    debadge (dip?)
    rear diff breather
    front air dam removal (obviously)
    TRD OR tow hook (red?)

    That should get you started.

Congratulations on your new truck! Tacomas are the best. I just bought a TRD Off-Road last week (traded in my 2008 Tacoma) and am having a ton of fun with it!
