New Taco owner

    Hello All,

    I just got a silver 2010 Taco TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 to replace my 2002 Dodge Dakota. I had a good run of 8 years in the Dak. It was a silver Quadcab V-8 AWD (so pretty much the same truck as my Taco:)). On I-10 between Blyth and Indio (middle of nowhere) my transfer case nuked itself which led me to get a new ride.

    I am currently in Pasadena CA, but am moving to Phoenix in June. I have already started bleeding $$$ into it based on all of the stuff I have seen on this site. :D I hope to make it out to some of the events to check out other turcks and get some ideas.


    So far I have the following coming:
    • Snugtop Hi-liner topper with the Yakima rack system
    • FJ TRD SE anthracite wheels (not sure what tires yet, might just do 265/75/16 BFG AT's until I can lift it, then 255/85's)
    • Metal Miller skid plate & Gator hood emblem
    • CoverKing neoprene seat covers
    Other stuff to do:
    • going to order some TRD mountain decals from Sockmonkey in gray to match the FJ wheels
    • maybe paint the emblems in gunmetal as well
