just bought 96 taco lx v6 4x4. the guy i bought it from had installed a 2.5 spacer lift in the front and a 3in block lift in the rear. he was going to remove the blocks and add 1.5in shackles to level the truck. he gave me the shackles but i know how hard they can be to remove. so my question is do i remove the blocks and buy new U bolts and bushing and install the shackles, remove the blocks buy new U bolts and some AAL, or find some 1.5 blocks? i do want it level so i dont want to leave it this way.

Best thing to do is get an AAL/U-bolts and get rid of the blocks...
And If the shocks are pretty harsh/bad, I would get some 5100's.

ha, I had the same shocks on my truck and they are soo stiff. They are just not made for the size of the Tacoma. As soon as I put the 5100's on, it was such a nicer smoother ride in the rear. But its up to you.....

Are you able to push the rear down by hand with miminal force? I could barely budge the rough country shocks...
Oh, and if you didnt or ready know this, But shackles and blocks will wear out your leaf pack quicker.
