Hey guys just got a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-road. Tech and premium package tri-fold tonneau cover included.
I also received $1000 in-store credit, so being dealership prices I should be able to get at least one good accessory. I was thinking a nerf bars or sliders, but they seem to be a lot cheaper online. Any recommendations?

Wouldn't they have to switch out the tires as well? Aren't the TRDs 17 in?

I wouldn't waste it on nerf bars. You can get those cheaper online and install yourself.
Focus on things that you can only get through dealer and might be a bit tougher (or just a plain PITA) to install.

+1 for exhaust... unless you plan to off road then you eventually cut most of it or beat it up..

I'd see how much their new 'desert intake' (aka snorkel) will cost that they will start offering.

I’ve got some credits too. It would be nice if the Pro wheels weren’t stupid expensive. Ive been thinking of exhaust too but will end up cutting off the end at some point

Maybe see if they could order up something else?

20180720_170225.jpg Look into the 4runner pro wheels over the tacomas. I may be biased but they look better on our trucks

Extend the warranty and ask for a cardboard cut out of Toyota Jan.You’ll definitely not regret one of those two purchases.

I would say either save it or get exhaust and intake or TRD air filter. Not really worth the money for HP purposes, but at least you can use the money for something decent.

Also, I’m pretty sure you can get step bars, but you can’t get sliders at the regular dealerships, but I could be wrong.

I would save it for maintenance items down the road. I can't stand to pay stealership prices for things that I can get for waaaay less on line.
