go with the grill then, as I think this is where they are screwing you the most. Ask for double lube and that should bring you to about 925, then you can leave a 75 buck tip.


Do not get the grill and let them install, they are giving it to you very hard on that deal. The grill is easy to install, very easy.

 

Thanks just looked up a youtube video on it. Looks very easy, Ill just go with the Mat and Air Intake and just get the Grill to go. Hopefully that doesn't come to much over $1000

 

Get the skid an exhaust install yourself.

 

save for maintenance down the road if no expiration. tranny service, brake service, etc........most parts can be found cheaper elsewhere

 

The pro grill is super easy to install just get the part and save the labor if you go that route.

But like others have said the best "value" would probably be getting the warranty or maintenance. Maybe some new tires when the buy 3 get one free promo runs.

Other than that you are paying a big premium on most parts getting it from the dealer.

I think they do the extended maintenance passed the 25k that comes with the truck. Never really priced it but its a future cost that you could save now....Definitely not the most glamours choice lol.

 

That might be a possibility, but with a new sexy truck glamouring it up just seems better lol

 

Not sure of the details of yours, I also got one back a few years ago, not $1000, but it was a few hundo. I had to pay out of pocket for parts / service at the dealer, and submit for reimbursement. if yours is same, make sure to negotiate your best price without them knowing you have "free money" to spend. none of their business. yours might be different though.....

 

Thanks for the warning, the accessories manager already knows I have $1000 to spend. His prices were actually lower then what is listed on their site, if you could believe it. Sounded like I just needed to bring in the paper and they would subtract the amount until the $1000 is spent.
