Hey everyone, I just picked up a 2010 speedway blue access cab 4cyl 4x4 SR5 a few ago. Awesome truck and this forum is awesome too. I do have a few questions about it.

    1) The floormat on the passenger side has holes in it for hooks from the floor to go into but there are no hooks coming out of the floor. This makes the mat slide around a bit. Am I missing something?

    2) When I hook up my mp3 player with the aux input and cable the volume is significantly lower than with the cd player or radio. And I have the volume all the way up on my mp3 player. Is that just the way they are?

Thanks in advance for the help!

bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
I can answer question number two with a yes, that is the way they are. Turn the volume up on your mp3/Ipod, and even still, the volume is low. :)

The dealer should give you the floormat hooks free...just go back and ask. My dealer did with out question.

My 06 only has the hooks on the drivers side. And my floor mats only had one mat with holes. Maybe they just stuck two drivers side mats in by mistake. I'm sorry I can't help you with your second question.

How are you hooking up the MP3 player to the aux input? Most aux inputs expect a line level input and if you are connecting to the headphone jack on the MP3 player you are not providing that level of signal.

    Question 1:

I just ordered some mats specific to my '08 Tacoma and it asked if I had the passenger side hooks or not. I'm thinking some don't have the floor holes. Checked mine and I have the holes on the passenger side but no hooks. If the dealership screws you around they're $1 for two on a website I found but shipping was ridiculous... so wrecker for me. All Toyota models from 2001-Present use the same hook.

I have a zune and I bought a cable with the headphone jack on both ends. One to the zune headphone jack and one goes to the aux input in the truck. can you explain this line level some more?

also, Ill double check but im pretty sure the hooks are not in the glove box. If not ill be stopping by the dealership.

thanks for the help so far.
