    '10 Tacoma TRD 4dr 4.0L/6 Shortbed
Of course I am new to the TacomaWorld Forum Website. Owner of a 2010 Tacoma Quadcab Shortbed TRD Package. Truck was purchased new and now has 117K miles on it as well as the ORIGINAL brakes. The reason I'm here today is to intruduce myself as well as see how new threads are being made and how they are responded to. Being an Ex Ford Ranger owner I now know that the Tacoma is in a much different class than the Ford Ranger with the oversprayed non-functioning drain holes on each door. I'll NEVER buy another Ford EVER AGAIN. Okay so let's get this ride going......
....TRD Front Brakes. Perhaps I made a mistake which I'm willing to admit of buying NAPA Premium Front Brake Pads. Upon removal of the original Factory brake pads up front I noticed that even at 117K miles there was still quite a bit of meat left on those original pads. Regardless, I decided to replace both the 4 year old rotors & pads. Thinking that brake pads were brake pads I went about removing the old pads and replacing the rotors with NAPA Premium Pads and Heavy Duty rotors. The job went as well as it could have and after 2 hours I had both sides done. The way I saw it the job couln't have gone any easier and felt confident I had successfully done my brakes as I usually have done. Upon roling out of my driveway I noticed a spinning/oscillating noise coming from the right front side. Both pads on that right side went on just as they did on the left. Both brakes up front are working flawlwssly knowing full well there are new pads on the new rotors. This noise isn't always there when rolling but at random I'm hearing that same oscillating tinny sound that comes and goes at random. I jacked the front end up and spun the right front wheel seeing nearly ZERO resisitance of what I thought might be the corner of the pad possibly wearing first and perhaps unevenly??
With this said I'm now at a loss as to what this noise possibly is. Having done the job in under 2 hours including the rotors I was wondering what IF ANY solution there may be for the noise that is coming from only the right size and whether or not I should... I can say it in all honesty, I SHOULD HAVE bought the OEM TRD Brakepads to begin with?
    ...Suggestions on the noise??
...The first whipping for a Newbie here at TW??
...Just lay it on me. I can handle anything.
    Thanks.
