I like to park mine in a fashion that offsets it, and never have more than a half tank ;P

The ToKico shocks they put on 1st gen dbl cabs are absolute shit, its like they planned for a shit ride, mushy, no internal valving at all it seems like, just uneven/poor cycling if you call it that haha

I lean while standing sometimes, up against a wall or a car or whatever.

Just called dealership. They will be looking at it on Monday afternoon. I suspect drivers side leaf spring wasn't arched to specs. Hard to tell by sight down there, but it explains a lot. Thanks for all the responses.

Yes, understood. However, knowing full well that no matter what the weight distribution is, the truck should be level. It will be fixed. Thanks.

That you think you have one. Dealer will not fix it since you will find every tacoma on the lot has the same lean.

After looking thru dealer lots for the last three months for this color, and after owning 4 other Toyota trucks, I can safely say that your statement is quite inaccurate. Moments ago, I dug in and discovered previous threads about the lean. Many had it, many did not. This isnt my first rodeo, bro. I will be successful with the dealer. Thanks for the input.

Incidentally, having owned two Chevy trucks over the years, Chevy Lean is fairly well known on the Chevy forum side of things. Maybe I am not noticing if my Taco is leaning, or else it may actually *not* be leaning at all, either way, I'm happy with how my truck is sitting in my driveway now. Hopefully OP will get a positive resolution though!

Man you all got me interested so I had to go measure mine with 43,000 miles on it. It leans a whopping 1/4 of an inch! So I got to thinking fenders are bolted on so I measured from the frame to the concrete floor dead level! Go figure. The truck is about 70” wide it would be extremely hard to perceive a fall of 1/2" in 70" by eye.

Take that same dead level where your truck sits & starting from the back, walk backwards away from truck, the further you backup (within reason) the more pronounced & evident that 1/2" becomes, I'm more anal than most about a level vehicle & I know I can see a 1/2" difference within a 70" beam width. I'm betting so will you...

I just measured mine and it's close to even in the front but my rear passenger is over an inch higher than the driver side. I also have less than a 1/4 tank of fuel in it. This seems excessive on a truck that's not even 3 months or 4000 miles old. Does this seem excessive to anyone else?
    Thanks

I have a 2014 TRD Sport and have fallen victim to the Taco Lean. I have 2500 miles on this truck and I swear it didn't start until I went off road for the first time. I was on somewhat of a rocky road but nothing crazy by any means. I went to the Toyota dealership and what i was told is that people usually put a lift kit with better suspension to rectify it. So I feel your pain.:(

Going to meet with Toyota rep at the dealer Wed morn. I checked 5 Tacoma's in their lot today. 3 had identical lean, 2 were quite level. All 5 ran most of the gamut, access cab and double cab, two were off road, three were not. I will post the result with the rep.

ps....yes, the lean is excessive and very much unnecessary.

Good luck man. Hopefully you don't get the same excuse I did about how its not out of spec as far as the manufacture is concerned. Granted the measurement they took of mine was with only a quarter tank of gas. I was told people come in with a lot worse, I meant to ask what is the maximum difference in measurement before they will do something about it but didn't
