Hello TacomWorld, My name is Cory im am in dire need of help/info/knowledge/recomendations ect. I just purchased my brand new 2015 toyota tacoma trd off road 4x4 back in november 2014, and i have to say it is an amazing machine. i was well into the tuner car world, heavily modified imports and what not, but got tired off cops and sadly some people ruin the scene for others. any ways i have a Tacoma now and its a whole new world and i know nothing about them.

    HELP!!

    2. best size lift to go with 3-6''?
    3. Avid light bar? any good? any other recomendations?
    4. Best place to get a Pack rack/ bed rack for future tent?
    5. A Good tent???
    6. LED light bars? ok so i have heard RIDGID INDUSTRIES everywhere, but at the moment i dont wanna spend that on lights lol OPT7 any good?
    7. Mild Engine Performance parts?

    Mods As Of 1-30-2015
    1. full weather tech floor mats
    2. plasti dip all badges
    3. 5000k H.I.D. headlight and fogs ( please dont hate me for this )

265/75-16 tires. requires no lift and fills out the wells nicely. i am running KM2s and love them, ditch the rugged fails and don't look back!

Save your money and skip the engine mods. You won't squeeze many more ponies out of the 4.0

Welcome to your new home! Literally. Alright for your questions.
    1. Biggest tire size you can go without doing any trimming etc is between 265/75/16 or equivalent up to 285/75/16 thats for your rim size. You might need wheel spacers if you use stock rims. Now with 285s some people get away with not doing a cab mount chop but if you plan on wheeling offroad at all youll most likely chop.
    2. Best way ive heard the comparison between 3-6 inch lifts is
    3 inch for GO.
    6 inch for SHOW.
People will argue both ways but drop brackets cut out your front crossmember and dont give you any additional clearance with your IFS.
It can give you more wheel to wheel clearance due to ability to fit bigger tires. Also its very difficult to revert your truck back to stock if by chance you wanted to. But for offroading a suspension lift is the way to go. I have an ICON stage 3 and its amazing for the ride quality and allows more articulation. Im running 265/70/17s and thats the biggest3. i can go and maintain no rubbing without any major trimming.
    3. I have no idea about lightbars so that answers the other questions about lightbars.
    4. Alot of companies offer packracks. Iwhen i get one im probabbly gonna go with allpro. Its the easiest to recieve in hawaii.
    5. Tepui, cvt are some main brands i see alot of on here. Im gona buy a tepui autana wen i get one.
    6. They must be good to charge that much right?
    7. Cold air intake makes a little better throttle response and nice sound. Im sure other guys can help on this.

Sir, i would shake your hand if i could right now. that info is great and very helpful i really appreciate you taking the time to relay all that info to me.

so with an icon 3'' lift should i just stick with 16 inch rims or is 17 inch ok?

so this tacoma found its way in to my life and now off roading is just somthing i will do for the remainder of my life so i need to make my truck off road/ camping/ fishing ect. worthy

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Go TRD supercharger if you want some real ponies out of your engine. That's what I'd do if I was in your shoes anyway. Can't say anything else about what you asked because I do not have it.

i was interested in the supercharger, but i will be using this truck for mostly off roading stuff so im just interested in mild performance for sound and a little more kick.
