So... I’ve done A LOT of research and still can’t seem to find the answer to my question. any help would be appreciated.

I previously had a 18 TRD Sport that I unfortunately totaled (not my fault, I have dash cam footage of rolling at 75 mph if you wanna see it) and I installed a 3 in spacer lift and a wheel and tire set up as follows: wheels were 20x10 -12 wrapped in 33 x 12.5 Toyo OCRT’s and has a slight rub at full lock reverse.

I now have a new 2020 trd sport and I want to do it right this time. I’ve ordered a King 3” coil over kit with the leaf pack and remote res but I don’t want the same wheels. I am looking at the VenomRex 602’s. They are offered in a 17 x 9 and a 20 x 9. The 17’s have an offset of -12 and the 20’s -18. See where I’m going yet?
My main question is, if I go with the 20’s with the larger offset which changes my BS from 5 to about 4.5 and run the same size tire as before will I have MORE of a clearance issue than I did? Minor rubbing doesn’t bother me and I don’t mind trimming like I did last time but I really want to keep the aggressive stance I had before but don’t want to get in over my head with cutting stuff to accommodate. Maybe go with a 12 or 11.5 to be safe?

Not sure if this helps, but i’ve been told for my 3” spacer lift the biggest tire i could place on it with the factory off-road wheels, and get no rubbing off highway was 285/75r16

Yea that’s a bit smaller than I had before but I’m just getting stuck on the offset thing. I’m thinking I should go thinner on the tire?
