    2017 Tacoma
Hey guys and gals, new here. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I picked up a 2017 Tacoma Sport with a manual transmission yesterday morning. Dropped it off to a tire shop and picked out some wheels and did a 3/2 lift.

    Tires are BFG 275/60 R20 - Rims are 20X10.

There was some minor rubbing on the back of the front wheels when I turn into driveways, so I had to trim the back, just a tad. I'm not going to be 4 wheeling or anything, the purchase was for my daughter so she could learn how to drive a manual. I do, however spend a lot of time in the mountains and down in Moab, Utah 4 wheeling, but I typically use the Land Rover products (because they are easy and I suck at it lol).

When I decided to find a vehicle with a manual transmission, I was surprised at how few there are. I had NO idea. I stopped in at the local Jeep dealership and they 42 Wranglers on the lot and only 1, that was 4 years old was a stick. Went over to the Toyota dealership and they had 20 Tacoma's and none were stick. They had to buy this one from another dealer out of state. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. This forum helped me tremendously in picking out tire/wheel sizes. Thanks!!

Great-looking truck BTW. I have a magnetic gray limited and will be getting those wheels. I love the super dished look. My question is when I go to XD's website and look up the Heist model for the Tacoma they only highlight and show a 20x9 wheel size with an 18 offset. Now you said yours were 20x10. There is a bolt pattern in that size that matches up perfectly with the Tacoma but it's not highlighted as or shall I say recommended/allowed by the application guide and the offset is -24. Did your tire shop go with this option? And if so how does it drive and steer with the offset being so much wider than the recommended?

It rubs when I crank my wheel all the way. At first it bothered me, but now I don't care. It's not that bad. I would do it again.

Driving and steering is fine. Literally the only issue I've got is cranking the wheel all the way. It rides really good too.

Sweet thanks. I wonder which vehicle application for 20 x 10 is for since XD only lists a 20 x 9 for the Tacoma?
