    Hi all,

Just purchased a 2008 Tacoma Prerunner TRD Sport with 192,300 miles. I am excited to learn from you all. There are some spots on the roof and hood where the paint is wearing away. It appears to be well maintained based upon the carfax and it has spent most of its life in California and a short period of time in Texas. I am currently in Virginia.

Don't skimp on the maintenance and you will likely see the odometer roll over to 392,300.

and the first rule i have is that if the previous owner didn't physically hand me a receipt for work performed, assume absolutely nothing was done to the truck since leaving the factory(ironically, a previous truck i bought from a guy, he handed me the receipts for what the local pep-boys did, and i ended up using those as a road map for what needed replacing). that means new rubber items, brakes, fluids, and a thorough check of all rotating assemblies.
