    Hello,
I have been looking on this site for a few days since I bought my 06 access cab and I have learned a lot about these trucks. I love the truck so far, some issues with the tail gate, but the truck is awesome. I am new to owning a nice vehicle with warranty. Is there anything I have to do now that I bought it? Should I phone the dealer and inform them that I am now the new owner of the truck? Also, I see that toyota has recommended service times, do these have to be followed in order for my warranty to not be void. Thanks for your help and sorry if this has already been covered.

    Thanks,
    Dave

there is not much that could void your warranty, for service times i would change the oil every 3000 miles

Welcome to TW! I would suggest checking the current fluid levels and topping them off if needed. How many miles are on the truck? Also, are there any maintenance records for your tacoma? If not, you may want to start changing the fluids - just to be safe.

Thanks for the help, the truck has 65000 km on it, so I will probably change the fluids soon. Thanks again
