    Hello all!
Just bought myself a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4. Has the premium package cause I had to have my leather. My first car my pare ts bought me had leather and I have tried cloth and cant stand it haha

I've had it since Tuesday June 26th. Had to wait a few days so they bring it from Savannah to Atlanta as there were only 2 blues with the specs I wanted in the state. But i got it!

Only thing I've done so far is add the Tekonsha P3 brake controller. Next up will be remote start and power tailgate. I can already tell I'm going to be on trouble with modding this sucker. Hopefully it won't be as bad as my other project car. A 1995 Infiniti G20.. which is currently in a gazillion pieces...

Enough rambling... Back to your scheduled day..

    Thanks glad to be here.

Anyone installed the roof rack on their gen 3 before? I'm debating getting them and having them installed or doing it myself.

That's what I thought. I mean I am doing a lot of custom work on my other car so this should be a breeze. As long as I stay under 6' 7" I'm going to do this. Height restriction is for my parking deck where I work. Gotta be able to go to work to pay for all this lol

So much I wanna do, so little in way of funds lol

I just did install the Tekonsha P3 brake controller and used the wiring adapter. Also used a 3D printed bracket I fonund on Etsy (that I found through TW prior to signing up). Totally worth it.

Now the dealer has to reinstall the hood protector on tuesday and I will possibly be making a trip to Savannah to bring back our boat.

    Thank y'all fornthe welcome.

So something interesting happened to me tonight.

I'm sitting at a red light with my father and we're headed to get something to eat. So we're sitting there at the light and then all of a sudden the truck lurches forward. Thought the trans or motor went nuts but in fact nothing happened to the truck mechanically. Some ding bat bumper the rear bumper.. Well I hop out, he hops out, no one is injured (he thought this was gonna be easy) and i check the damage ..tiny ding on the black plastic piece of the bumper above the hitch, nothing serious... Dude says what do want, i said gimme $50 and we'll call it even and go our separate ways... Well dude (we'll call him Samuel cause he look like Samuel L Jackson gone on hard times, according to my girl)... Anyway Sam decides he's not gonna pay that and get all defensive and like, I'm gonna call my lawyer and I know the assistant police chief and I'll take you to civil court and blah blah blah... Trying to intimidate me..
First off, I know it is not my fault. Second, now you're threatening legal action... Now im calling the cops and we'll see how that goes.
Meanwhile his lady friend is trying his best to get me to take some money and i told her, look, that opportunity passed and your guy has been excessive and the cops have been called.
So we wait for the police.. An ungodly amount of waiting cause she kept coming back and i kept telling her to return to her car.
Finally the city cops show (those who know the City of Conyers know they don't put go with shit)
So we get out of the raod which I wasn't moving after the dude started getting belligerent.. We go over they get information and we wait for them to run everything. Officer comes over and asked me what happened and i recite it. I also told him, that I wouldn't have called y'all and wasted your time for a tiny scratch but with his , I'm not going to jail.
So a couple minutes go by and they arrest the Samuel cause he has no license. Should of paid up.. Now he's gonna be paying more .

Sorrybfor the long wonder rant/explanation. Had to get it out before I forgot .

That’s a great way to get yourself murdered but thankfully you lived to tell the tale
