New Tacoma Owner Frame Rust

    Would it be fair to assume that the frame replacement I got on my 07' in 2020 would have been sourcing the newer more resilient frames? Or am I back to stressing about the rust issue as if it was an OEM 2007 frame all over again?

    By the way, I recently had a look, and not a spec of dust anywhere on it yet. Maybe the paint is just holding up well.

    Your assumption would be correct.

    Honestly, you should really look into these products just to be safe, then stress no more. Either Surface Shield, Fluid Film, or Wool Wax. I prefer SS because of the better adhesion but I've been using ALL these for 2 years and my frame looks like when I bought the truck 2 years ago.
