I’m Jason, and new to the forums. I’ve looked at a few threads on topics that popped into my head...but decided to get serious and link in with everyone here.

I have an 07 TRD sport crew cab that was handed down to me from dad, and it’s my turn to get this running right. It’s already in terrific condition with about 200k. It’s been taken care of and is pretty much stock as it came out, next to routine maintenance.

I love the look of the sport, but would really like to have it ready to perform for when I take it off road. It’s mostly going to be my work truck and daily driver. I do plan on getting out this year for some Rec though. Nothing too crazy right off the bat, but, you never know.
What things can I concentrate on looking at first to get the ball rolling in the right direction. I know at that kind of mileage, I’ve got some fluid flushes to deal with, and I feel some shocks and front end to tighten up.

I look forward to your feedback. Thanks

I would to make sure to change every single fluid, that always my first step when I purchase a used vehicle. Front diff fluid/Rear diff fluid, tranny fluid and filter, oil, coolant flush and power steering flush and you should be good to go. Welcome to TW!!

How about suspension? I’m guessing shocks are pretty old... I was looking at a fresh upgrade in this department particularly. No problems that I can feel at this point- but I know it’s only a matter of time. I was looking at beefing things up, and getting everything nice and tight.
I have been looking at lift options while I’m going to be down there.
