    What's good world?

I just picked up my first Tacoma last week and found this website as I browsed options for how to make an already sweet truck ever sweeter. Thanks in advance for all the help you'll provide as I build up this truck.

I live in Riverside, CA as a student at La Sierra University in my final year of studies working towards my B.A. In August I'll be relocating to Michigan for three years as I attend school and grab a Masters degree. In that time I hope to move the truck from stock to SICK and ready for the harsh winters in MI.

The rig is a super white 2008 Tacoma Off-Road 4x4 6-Speed Crew Cab with a 5-foot bed. Seeing as I am upgrading from an '89 Dodge Ram 50 import pick-up, life is good. She's starting out with 69,000 miles on the V6 and is rough around the edges but clean.

In the next five months I'm planning on:

    - Replacing the headlights with a pair of JDM clear Projector lamps with LED's (http://www.carid.com/2008-toyota-tacoma-headlights/halo-projector-91858.html)

    - Replacing the fog lights with a pair of LED lamps

    - Tinting the stock tail lights

    - Adding a roll-up Tonneau cover (http://www.ap23.com/carid.com/produ...PHPSESSID=h1ndc38pcgc3onrcjc81o891f6undefined)

    - Painting the stock rims flat black

    - Painting all badges flat black

    - Installing an iPod conversion kit

    - Installing (at least one) 10" subwoofer and amp somewhere in the rear cab.

(If anyone can counsel me on how that might work in the small storage space of the Crew, it would be greatly appreciated)

This will be my first project truck as I never had the means to pay for upgrades to my last truck, nor the desire to spruce up an '89 beater truck. Looking forward to the prospect of having a mean looking ride by August. Thanks again to everyone who has posted on how to make this all happen!

    Peace, love, and pita bread
