I just came home with my new 2015 Tacoma and absolutely love it! But now I need to find a recommended cover for the bed.

I'm looking at the TRUXEDO LO PRO QT. Can anyone give me feedback on this tonneau? Pros? Cons? I'm trying not to break the bank on this.

    Thanks!

Welcome to TW and congrats on the Tacoma

No personal experience with the Truxedo but I have the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite. Love the fact I can lock it on both front and rear panels. Also open the tonneau cover without dropping the tailgate. Worth every penny IMO.

Whats the difference between 1st and 2nd gen covers. I got 6.2' cover that I don't want. Wish you were closer, I'd give you a screaming deal. It came with the truck and I need to load my bed more often then cover stuff.

If possible, could you photo your bed? I'd love to see how it fits. That's my major concern -- making sure whatever I buy fits right and looks like it belongs on the truck.

    Thanks.

    I appreciate it, but I have a 5' bed.

    Yes sir
I have a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit tonneau that came with my truck when I bought it, I only use it during the winter since I have my dirtbike in the back so often when it's nice out. I like it, slides well and looks solid with the truck. Taking it out was easy too, I just took the bolts out of the rail mount things on each side and lifted the entire assembly out haha. I'd recommend it but it might be more than you're looking to spend.

Here are few pictures I had, can't take any right now since it isn't on anymore :D

Sorry for the crappy pics. We are still getting snow and it distorts the pics. I hope this gives you an idea. Its low and lays nice and flat. Opens nicely and seals well.
