    2" lift, 265/75r16 ATs, Arb bumper
    Hey guy's,

    I picked this thing up last week, its a 2005 single cab 4x4 5spd 2.7 with 154k, base model AF. It just had the frame swapped by the dealer and a little lift while they had it apart(OME coils, 5100's, AAL). Also has some nice 3rd gen wheels and an ARB bumper. Super clean truck for the age and miles. I could not be happier.
    I immediately ordered some LT265/75r16 toyo AT2's in load range C, 1.5" spacers, and I'll be throwing a Truetrac in the rear as soon as I can find someone local who can rebuild a 3rd. This build is gonna be a pretty mild overland/daily rig with a nice little truck camping setup in the back with some drawers and a sleeping platform. I would also like to weld up some minimal/lightweight sliders and swap the ARB for something lighter, the 2.7 obviously can barely handle the weight of a stock truck, so light weight is gonna be the theme here.(I could use some suggestions on light weight winch bumpers)

    Thanks for the warm welcome! This seems like a pretty legit forum, Im pleasently surprized at how little bickering it see when reading through old threads. I've owned a lot of 4x4s and other vehicles and if feel like most of their respective forums have been shit shows. Way to be adults! I'm also very happy to finally own a vehicle that is both (relatively, soon to be)off road capable and practical for daily use. And it won't scare my grandma! Toyota Tacoma: the responsible decision!
