Check around his main business is line x and he's been doing waxoyl for many years. Call some line x places they will know or you can buy a diy kit from rover North in Vermont. I'm going to do my jeep this spring with a diy kit I needed this done now since I drive it daily the jeep is stored.

 

OK, it's Wednesday, I know, but Tues. was a full-to-burstin' kindofa day. Susan posed me with the young fella who helped me buy it. I was glad to get it from a dealer that doesn't haggle. They set a price, and that's the price. It was a good price, too. I only looked at one other dealer, and they came at me with the standard bag of tricks, and I saw with all the fees they were not gonna win anyway.

And then young fella said, "Hey, we've begun our President's Day sale, and because you made your choice and put money on it yesterday, but haven't actually taken delivery, we're gonna give you the $500 off that everyone gets in the sale. Good?"

So yes it was a good day.

I like the silver color (it's only the late day sun and the angle of the photo that makes it look blue). I think I'll call her "HiYo".

 

Congrats on the new Taco! (SR Access Cab - an excellent choice!) I guess Toyota changed their veteran's' discount from 'recently discharged' veterans to 'any' veterans, and the dealer got me the extra $750 off. Every little bit helps.

 

We haven't had any , but I have had my 99 in the snow over the years and at the ski lodge. Still looks great, no rust. This stuff is made by Simonize and a good under carriage protectent. Works great in these parts.

12 cans of fluid film.
I 3m dust mask.
Old clothes nobody cares about with old stocking cap to cover rest of you head.
Lots of cardboard to cover the ground under the truck so you can slide around on the ground, and not get the film on the pavement.
Go to town spraying everything but the brakes and exhaust.

 

As far as the $500 off....thats fantastic if they started off with $600 or $700 as their regular fee.
