So now we can wildly speculate again... but this time about power output. I am guessing 310 hp and 280 lbs of torque.

I wish they would have stamped the cab a bit differently. Added some sharp angles like the rest of the truck has. I know the belt line is different but wish they would have done more there. Oh well, can't win them all. This will still be my next truck.

It's the basically the same bed length and width and the cab line is the same. They won't have to change much.

If the bed did get raised a bit, they might need some modification, but I doubt it will be long before there is a Tacoma topper.

I don't like that they went with chrome bezels on all the turn knobs. Bummer.

Anyone know where and if/when Toyota will have more pics? I really want to see a double-cab long bed. I will be upset if they don't offer one up. =(

Just from the pictures of the two models at the show it seems a lot of people will be torn between the limited and the TRD. Not really sure why the TRD OR wouldn't have the bed light but for some reason it doesn't. Does anyone remember if they mentioned if some of the new stuff was standard across the limited and TRD models?

Ok I'll give you some credit. The Tacoma emblems on the door still look the same as the 2nd gen.

You can treat it the same was as remodeling house. Leave one old wall up so it will still be considered remodel instead of new construction.

One thing is for sure, all those extras are gonna cost, don't be surprised for some sticker shock. But some neat new things for sure with a really nice interior.

Yup. Something tells me the days of a $40k Tacoma (USD) are not far off...

We will probably see $40k + for the limited model. The Colorado is already there.

Wait 10 years on the used market. Then you can buy one for $30k with 150k miles.:)
