The truck? Its Toyota's A-BAT concept. They released the concept at a detriot auto show a couple years back I think. I think they have kinda dropped the concept though.

I think it's silly... What's it for? Work, from what I saw.

Actually, it was a hybrid truck concept. Built on the Camry floor plan/suspension with the Prius drivetrain. According to articles in Autoweek and other automotive mags, Toyota was serious enough about it that they released specs to some of their suppliers to determine if it would be financially feasible. Not a fan of the exterior, but as a hybrid owner, who uses a light duty pickup occasionally, the idea of a hybrid truck appeals to me.

I waited all day to catch up because work is keeping me busy. I think it's pretty decent looking, but I'm not trading my 2013. I'm lifted, supercharged, leather seated, and happy. I guess gas mileage would be nice...

I had various nasty responses written about sex with your girlfriend, but I enjoy it. It purrs nicely and makes the truck run in a vigorous fashion.

Did you even try to watch the launch or read the information posted on the links from the different magazines?

    Changes to the frame
    All new suspension
More sound deadening for a quiet everything
    New engine
    New transmission
    New interior everything
    A lot of cool tech
Can't forget that newly designed position for the Go-Pro mount that is included in all Tacoma models (sorry, this one I find too funny, but Toyota did a good job using this 5.00 mount as a modern and positive move)

    So yeah... nothing new

A little of this and a little of that.
I'm not disappointed with the 2016 Tacoma from what I've read so far. The Japanese are very good with continuous improvements. The current 2nd gen. Tacoma has received small changes throughout it's production run. It didn't need clean slate re-design.
    Now for the engine info...

Yea, I watched the reveal last night and it is pretty clear to me that they've used this redesign to fix a bunch of small things that needed improvement in the frame and cab even though they don't look different from first glance.

I don't know if they said anything during the reveal or its posted anywhere else but this morning I got an email from Toyota introducing the 2016 Tacoma. It says on sale fall 2015.

Check with your local dealerships. I've already spoken to my guy, and he said that they will start putting their allocation orders in in June. I've already got the very first allocation reserved. We'll spec it out in May, and it'll be part of the initial order.

They expect the first deliveries in August, especially since the factory is 69 miles away from me.
