It's taken me 12 years to despise the instrument cluster on my Corolla. Hate didn't start until year 9.

    - The speed and tach numbers orbiting around the dials make me dizzy.
    - The front grill makes it look like it has ugly gaping teeth.
    - I didn't like the tailgate on my first look, but now it's growing on me.
    - They didn't change anything with the exterior of the cab.
    - The dash is very bland. Pretty but still bland.

I won't be trading in my almost paid for 2011. Will probably wait a few years for the bugs to be ironed out then we will see.

Yeah that sucks. My wife drives a 5th gen 4Runner and I hate dealing with that damn cartridge filter. Oil everywhere....
The new titans are crazy ugly. The design also looks dated.

Um, not for the cowboy but for the warrior? They plan on selling these things to ISIS or Boko Haram?

It's an anatomical design? Which part, rectal?

The window wasn't copied from Ford, it was an engineering choice? One Ford made years ago.

    Please.

I think Toyota hit it out of the park with the interior. I have my criticisms of the exterior but I think the inside looks way better than the soft-looking Colorado.

As far as the Titan? Yeah, there is an arms race with full-size trucks to see who can look like they are compensating for their small genitalia the most. I have thought the Super Duty looked ridiculous for a while. The Titan might win the award for the "Most Ridiculous Grill" award.

I read on another interview that she has designed other cars, I wonder what they look like.

I never argued directly against the 4.6 L, other than it does cause some more crossover between the Tacoma and the Tundra which is not always a great thing for Tundra sales. The truth is they needed to have a fuel efficient engine in the Tacoma and I'm sure Toyota feels the 3.5 L is the best fit. Remember CAFE requirements are coming up. That's why the Tacoma will, more than likely, never have a V8 option.

Also a supercharger is an add on part, so it can circumvent CAFE standards ;).

With BlueT I was argueing against the 5.7 L being put in a Tacoma. That's just rediculous.

Ah, yeah, the supercharger would do that, good point. 4.6L probably Toyota doesn't want to do it for the Tacoma (unfortunately) since the Tundra only has the 4.6L and the 5.7L as their two engines right now.

Nice to have the Tundra 6-speed auto coming into the Tacoma. Threw the dogs a bone.

I can see why the guys on the Nissan forum got in a uproar. It does look like a Chinese built F150

I thought this was a funny comment about the interview

R&T: Where did you start with this new design?
Diane: Well, we started with an F-150 Super Duty and gave it a vagina.
