I know this thread is years old, but I just ordered the kit. Got it on eBay from Toyota of North Miami, $82.89 plus tax, and free shipping:

2015 - 2016 Tundra Tacoma LED OEM SET Cargo Bed Lighting 00016-34089 | eBay

I checked the Amazon link up the thread, but it says they're unavailable, and they don't know when they're coming back. The similar 00016-34187 kit is $83.89 there. A driver's side replacement light assembly (no passenger's side listed, but you could pull the light out of the housing) is $49.95 on Amazon, sold by Daytona Toyota.

I'm going to see it I can install this and thread the wiring up into the headliner, then connect it to the lamp side of the dome light switch, so they can be switched on or off, or on with the doors open, like the dome light.

Use the power from the dome fuse, but I would recommend getting a dedicated bed light switch to turn it on as well as getting a door courtesy switch that you can install where the tailgate hits it when closed. This way you can turn it on manually without turning interior lights on and it will come on automatically when opening the tailgate. Power from dome, and ground from both the manual switch and courtesy switch.
