I have a manual too, almost positive we have chip keys.

No. I don’t have shock sensor. The dealer said he would have a third party installer install it. I talked to the install. He told me he would have to splice into wires under the dash. I declined it. The dealer told me there is no factory plug and play shock sensor alarm although he might not have been truthful with me.

The dash security blinks when factory alarm is set.

Right, I think he was talking about the blinking red light towards the right of the dash.

Oh, maybe mine was added but the dealer never charged me for it and all the places I’ve seen where they’d tie one in are untouched.

That’s the one I’m speaking of. It blinks when factory alarm is set.

Maybe they changed something then after 2017. On pqge 69 of the owners manual for my truck, it says that flashing light is the engine immobilize system and works with the chipped key.

Thats an immobilizer, not an alarm.

Mine blinks and goes off if the door is opened

    No shock sensor though.

Mine came with the dealer installed alarm that is activated by impact. They did a hack job. When I pulled out the panel to install the Caliraised LED switch I discovered a tangled up ball of splices/taps.

That’s why I declined the dealer installed option.
