New tag lights

I broke one of my housing trying to install a bulb. I ordered these led housing off ebay, but damn they’re bright.

I’d like to point them straight back. Get them SOBs high beaming from behind.

The Retrofit Source now has LED housings. I ordered a set, they said they would ship after Xmas.

I wonder if those will solve your problem? If not just get a Phillips 194 LED at Auto Zone and call it a day. Don't make it too bright or it will screw up your backup camera at night.

 

It was the housing I had to replace. The housings I got actually have the LEDs built in, it has a pigtail that plugs into the 194 socket. Then that gets inserted into the housing. So it sealed nice.

Look the same to me. Their harness looks a little better , but all that gets put inside the housing.

I’ll go swap them with my wife’s Tundra. She never drives at night anyway.

 

Bah... so they whored out the "Morimoto" name for cheap Alibaba Chinese fixtures. And here I thought I was special.
