May we please see your compliance testing that you did for the state of California or the Department of Transportation for the smoked units?

    http://codes.findlaw.com/ca/vehicle-code/veh-sect-26101.html

    (a) A person shall not sell or offer for sale for use upon or as part of the equipment of a vehicle any device that is intended to modify the original design or performance of any lighting equipment, safety glazing material, or other device, unless the modifying device meets the provisions of Section 26104.

    (b) A person shall not use upon a vehicle, and a person shall not drive a vehicle upon a highway that has installed a device that is intended to modify the original design or performance of a lighting, safety glazing material, or other device, unless the modifying device complies with Section 26104.

    http://codes.findlaw.com/ca/vehicle-code/veh-sect-26104.html

    (a) Every manufacturer who sells, offers for sale, or manufactures for use upon a vehicle devices subject to requirements established by the department shall, before the device is offered for sale, have laboratory test data showing compliance with such requirements.  Tests may be conducted by the manufacturer.

    (b) The department may at any time request from the manufacturer a copy of the test data showing proof of compliance of any device with the requirements established by the department and additional evidence that due care was exercised in maintaining compliance during production.  If the manufacturer fails to provide such proof of compliance within 30 days of notice from the department, the department may prohibit the sale of the device in this state until acceptable proof of compliance is received by the department.

I'd be extremely interested in a Amber turn signal style! I plan on shipping my Tacoma to Japan and I believe I need an Amber turn signal.

Are you referring to those plastic light guards? These would be a cheap way to achieve that "b
lack housing" effect especially on the headlights

I don't think you are grasping the concept of black housing. Not the same as a black " trim ring".

The DOT also makes manufacturers do this. I assume most of them don't, especially ones coming straight from China like these

Honestly speaking, good looks on the red one but I still rather wait for Toyota to do the face-lift in the later year. Just like the 2nd Gen release, Toyota introduced the LED tail light at that as an upgrade. So I'm pretty sure people like me who own the current model will do that update when time has come.

I personally think these lights look really good in the Black/Smoke on a MGM. The fact that Alex the probably the most badass third gen I've seen also helps.

Ok that smoked set does look pretty good MGM, but that price point is higher than OEM Pro Tails

If there's enough interest I can possibly talk to one of our distributors about setting up an account and doing a group buy...

Is there any way you could get mad stz to take pics from a side and quartering shot with out pressing the brakes as well? Side shot to see the MGM contrast with the tail lights. Kinda looks like black paint in the pics shown above I would be in for a group buy possibly. Depending on how they look without brakes pressed

    Trail Paint Job!
I'll definitely be taking more pictures soon!

The brake light isn't on in any of those 3 shots from this morning. The lights are just switched on. The bottom photo does show the turn signal illuminated.

@heffer did take more photos so maybe he has a few other angles?
