Deadline for LEDs is Tuesday. I just placed another order and I'm hope the LEDs get in on time so I have enough for everyone. Should be fun and I hope someone has a power plug to lend at one of the places were going. Not sure how many watts my iron takes up. I'll have to try my inverter in my truck.

Careful putting a huge load on the truck inverter. I blew an old amp trying to use a circular saw with it. The spike went past the in line fuses and took the amp out. I had an electrician try and explain to me why the fuses didn't "save it" but it was over my head. He laughed and said "just don't plug shit into that thing you aren't supposed too"

It's due to the electrical impulse or the force of the electrons passing through the cable. The force is directly proportional to the total charge times the electric field. If you have power stored in nthe amplifier (internal capacitors) it will pull it from there unless someone was smart enough to place a power protection circuit with diodes in it, but since they go to the cheapest bidder I doubt it. Long story short, the power has to come from some where and if your running all those things guess which one wins? I don't know the load rating because they don't place it on the units. So it's a guessing game right now.

How many watts is your iron? An 80 watt iron should be ok on the 400 watt inverter. Run time before you kill the battery is a different story. I have a jump start box if you kill the battery.

Ok so looks like this will be the plan!! We will meet at Whiskey Joe's on the causeway between 11:45 and noon. I will post the address later in this post. Once everyone arrives we will drive a short ways down the causeway and find a spot to park by the water and take pics. Once pics are done we can head back to Whiskey Joe's and have lunch. I will make the reservation for 1pm for lunch. As of right now it looks like we will have at least 13 for the meet. I will make the reservation on saturday so if you are bringing more than just you let me know so I can plan accordingly. Once lunch is over we can figure out a place to drive to and hangout while Pyro completes the LED mod for the 3 guys who have locked in for the mod. From there we can play it by ear!! Here is the lastest updated list if you names not on here please copy and add your name.

Just another heads up, yesterday i bolted on my newly redone step bars and am looking to sell them. Since i will be at the tampa meet thought i would make sure to post in here and see if anyone is interested. Want to sell so i can pick up some NFAB steps.

Asking $300 and i will install them for you at the meet. They fit 2nd gen double cabs. Shouldnt matter if they are 5 or 6 foot beds. I refinished them w/ bed liner spray and replaced the step pads, and have new end caps on the way.

So I hope who ever is taking pictures has a water resistant camera as the forecast calls for rain. The good news is I have my LED's in stock and may even have enough for one more! Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.

Just a heads up, my attendance is being based on the weather, thats a long ride for me to be stuck in the rain. If the rain does prevent me, nammer i will set something up with you for the suspension stuff, i will be in tampa around the middle of next month so i could bring them with me then.

But i fully plan on attending if the weather holds out!

in CASE you don't make it, but i think you'll find your way over, cause rain means it's time to go :mudding: but there will be plenty of time later for suspension stuff, i wasn't planning on putting it on til i put on my new rims, and get an alignment, along with 705 taco's spacers, but i do have jim's lights and emblem, possibly ohohvette can drive it back with him? and jim could pick it up?
