I have Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires I need to replace soon on my 2006 4DR 4WD silver long bed Tacoma. I have a small lift so the current tires are 265/70/17.

I'd like less road noise but an off-road look. I rarely drive off-road and rarely drive in snow though. Was thinking of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02. Thoughts?Anything else you suggest I look for? Pic attached.

Also, what should I do with old tires? Was just going to get this done at NTB or a local shop.

Welcome to TW. The KO2s are a great tire and have much less road noise than the Duratracs, especially worn Duratracs. Be sure to get them in the lighter weight C-load.

Here are pics of my truck with that size (pre-lift):

Other tires you might consider would be the Toyo ATII. I haven't run them but looked at them before going with the KO2, they are not as aggressive looking though.

Tire shops will recycle your tires for a small fee. If there is any tread left (doesn't look like much) you might be able to give them away for free and save a few bucks. But if they are truly worn out I'd just recycle them at the tire shop. I always replace my tires near 50% tread, and sell them for about 1/2 of what I paid and buy new ones. That way I am always running fresh tires and it doesn't actually cost me any more (other than additional mounting/balancing).

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
Cooper A/T3 gets my vote. I have the STMaxx, but the A/T3 is the next tire for the van.

One can never have too many light bars.
Toyo Open Country A/Ts are a pretty good tire that should last 60K and are relatively quiet. You will also have compete confidence if you find yourself stuck in a snowstorm as well.

If you want quiet, Mich MS2's in a 265-75-16. If you want quiet and an Off-road look, Michelin AT's.
