New tire question

I am getting new tires next month for my prerunner 285/75-16 and I do a lot of desert driving and highway driving. What tire should I go with?

I run Toyo MT on my Jeep 17000 km 17/32 new is 19/32. I just bought a set of Mickey Thomspon MT for Tacoma looks good time will tell how they wear.

 

I like the toyos but they are expensive.

 

Got nitto terras on my truck and they look great.

 

Dont buy terras if you wheel and spin tires. They don't last if you drive aggressively.

 

How about some Cooper at3. Not the most aggressive looking tire but everyone says good things about them. Or the Cooper atp, which look a lot like dynapro atms. They are also very reasonably priced.

 

How do the hankooks do offroad?

Not sure if that test was put on by hankook because it seems some what bias.

 

Anyone use the Hankooks or Yokohamas in the Arizona desert?

 

Should be getting my new Hankooks next month.

 

Go to Discount and look at the Cooper ATP's. I have them on my Tacoma, pretty nice tire.
