    You got lucky. I had the same issue and pulled it out in my garage and it leaked. had to change with the spare and when i took it to a shop they were pissed that i took it out and they had to hunt for the hole. putting on the spare going to the tire shop and then taking the spare back off and re hanging it i wasted a half day. Lesson learned.

    Always mark the sidewalls or more when removing a puncture-object. That may have been you hunting for the hole, not the experienced service tech. IMHO.
