Finally..after MUCH research and decision making, including hours of scouring these forums for ideas and suggestions, I finally pulled it all together and got my tires and wheels bought and mounted.

Went with Pro Comp La Paz 5029 17x8.5 wheels and 265/70R17 General Grabber AT2 tires in SL range. Very happy with the look and ride so far and handling of the GG.

As I am well aware that a thread is useless without pics, I believe I downloaded the appropriate before and after shots to include here.

Had a little rub on both front mud flaps, but wanted to keep them on for now so trimmed them up and shortened them too (after these pics were taken).

For those trying to decide on tires or wheels, I found it interesting that I ended up going back and getting the original set-up I had chosen at the very beginning of the search...

Are those hubcentric wheels? Ive heard people say it is hard to get the center cap on with Procomp wheels for some reason. Looks great though!

Thanks guys. I never knew choosing tires was such a headache. With all the choices out there it can get mind boggling. But after looking at all the threads here, I realize I'm not the only one to feel overwhelmed by the choices.

The wheels are lug centric and no problems getting the center caps on. I bought E/T style lug nuts so that there would be some extra bite on the studs and prevent issues with vibrations. I did not have to use a hub ring either. So far the ride is smooth at all speeds and the combo balanced out very well with only an oz+ of weights on each tire.
