Did you need spacers for those size tires or do the FJ wheels fix the backspacing?

    Thanks.

Well first off, thank you all so much for your compliments!:D To steal a line from the hit movie Brian's song " I love my Taco. And I'd like all of you to love it too." Now I will try to respond to some of your comments.

No, I believe the FJ backspacing is 4.5 so no need for spacers.

The Fronts rub just barely with hard slow turns, I'm hoping I can sand them down a little and avoid removing them. Again, I'm going for the
Factoryesc (I made up a word) style.

Welp your welcome, I think

    What a great compliment:yay:

My budget was tight and I just barley went over.. I had to do all the work myself to make this possible.
    Wheels 600
Tires 920 Installed, Balanced and aligned
    UCA's 420
    5100's 300
    AAL 90
    TSB FREE:)

Total = $1680 after the $650 I hope to get back for my nearly new stock wheels and tires. All prices include shipping.

They are 16x7.5 FJ TRD SE Wheels in Anthracite.. (Pretty cheap, but was hard to find someone who actually had them to sell.)

Your truck/mods look good bro! For some reason the tires seem smaller than 285. All 2nd gen tacos w/ 285's that I've seen seem to have a wider stance than what your's has! Must be the wheeel size???

Truck looks awesome, that is the same set-up I was looking for when I get the money saved up. I was wondering if it affected the ride for the better or worse vs. stock as well as the overall performance?
By the way, anyone looking to get a set of the FJ wheels can contact the folks @ Frank Motors in California, they cut me a great deal ($500.00 - set of 4) and the shipping was less than $70.00. Contact Scott Edwards - sedwards@frankmotors.com and he will hook a brother up..

Personally I think It rides better, more firm like a truck should ride.. Also handles very good.
