I agree though. All joking aside, it's frustrating when you're on the freeway and trying to talk to the passenger. It may be a bit better in second gens but it's kind of a pain for 1st gens.

I wouldn't trade the in because of the noise, the aggressive look and trouble they've gotten me out of are worth it

I'm considering these tires as well. I've also been searching for reviews and feedback on them. I'm hoping they aren't as loud as the STTs. I like that they aren't too heavy like some of the other tires I've been looking at (Nitto and ST Maxx) and aren't too expensive.

Not as heavy as yo momma, but in all seriousness, I didn't have a scale with me when I purchased them.

MPG's shouldn't be a factor if your buying mudders, these aren't helping mine.

I disagree. Mud tires vary greatly in weight. Why get an 80 lb tire when you can get another brand that's 60 lbs? That 20 lbs will make a significant difference in rotational mass on a little Tacoma.

I have Firestone Destination MTs on my Tacoma and Grabber ATs on my 4runner. I love the Destinations I'm on my 2nd set of those but not really a fan of the Gabbers, but hey they where on the runner when I got it back in September so can't really complain. Probably gonna go with the Coops when I wear both sets out
