After debating whether or not to get new tires for months, discounttire.com sold me with their $70 rebate on 4 BFG tires plus free shipping. I got BFG A/T KOs in 265/75/16 and I think they look great, I haven't been offroad with them yet but I'm sure they're worlds better than the BFG Rugged Trails. I also de-badged the truck a few weeks ago and am still debating whether or not to black them out or just leave them off. Being such a nice day I decided to wash my baby and take some pics since I know how much everyone loves pics (even if its just a stock 2nd gen with some new tires).

Looks great.....is everything else stock? Have you had the leaf spring TSB done? Is that the stock shock setup still in the front?

I had the same tires on my 95 Taco, loved them and they lasted 55,000 miles. I thought if you jumped from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16 that you had to use spacers or another shock like the Bilstein 5100's to lift the truck because of rubbing issues. Any rubbing issues since the install?

nope, no rubbing and ive had the wheel turned all the way in both directions. you need spacers if you have a 3 in lift with 285/75s on stock rims, 265/75 is what should come on the truck from the factory IMO.

I agree 100%, 265/75/16 should be the stock size. The stock 70 series tire looks to small for our trucks.

What kind of box did you put in the back? I'm still waiting for my DC Long Bed to be built and sent to the dealer, but I like the low profile black box. I was already planning on a black toolbox and the lower height doesn't take much away from your visibility (at least from the photos).

    Pat,

Debating over tires sizes myself and about to pull the trigger on wheels and tires at discount tire tomorrow afternoon. According to the sticky "tire size calc" the following is determined
    265/70/16 = 30.6 diameter
    265/75/16 = 31.6 diameter
No rubbing with a "32" tire without any front end lift?
Man now I'm really confused about tomorrow

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Its a UWS low profile, search United welding services in google and there website will list dealers near you. Your right, it doesnt take away any visibility.

$686 after the rebate discounttire.com is offering, the sub is the stupid one that comes with the OR package

there is very little road noise compared to the rugged trails, i barely notice it

those measurements are correct and there is absolutely no rubbing and i have the stock TRD OR suspension
