Hey whats the most aggressive looking quality tire I can put on a 16 TRD off-road, I’m adding 17 TRD Pro wheels....The only thing I don’t want is to trigger my tire pressure monitors, I’d rather keep it within the psi....thoughts?????

265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3w they perform excellent and they’re cheap!
I have them on a 4Runner and I have 265/75/16 on the Taco

Will either of these trip my TPM???? I’d like to avoid that if possible

I don’t think neither will “trip” the tpms sensor, the only thing that will make the light come on is if you’re too low on PSI.

If you’re planning on reusing the stock OR tpms sensors on the 4Runner TRD wheels I’d check to make sure they fit properly on the new wheel.
I’m not sure if the is a difference or not.

Any mud terrain would suite your needs for an aggressive look I would think.

KM2's look nice. I would think you'd run about 30psi with these. I never had any low pressure warning with my General Grabbers and they were around 32 psi normally

If you don't use your original TMPS sensors that came with your truck make sure you get OEM Toyota sensors, I had aftermarket sensors put on my Tundra and they kept tripping the light, Les Schwab finally got me a set of OEM sensors and no more tripping.

If you use your original sensors or if they'll work from a 16" to 17" wheel the only thing that will trip them is low PSI as said above.

I just put 255/75/17 Goodyear Duratracs on my 17 TRD Pro Sema wheels. Discount tire has them for $155 each, plus some rebates.

I used my TPMS off my TRD offroad wheels.

I can assure you running a higher than normal tire pressure doesn’t set off a light. I have aftermarket wheels and tires with factory sensors. You do know that there is a button on your dash to reset the psi value, right?

I’m not sure but that’s what dealer told me when I wanted to order 17 tires after adding TRD 17 wheels

your original lug nuts and sensors will work with the Sema Wheels. Here is the Cooper ST maxx 255/80/17 on that wheel. Sensors read fine.
