We actually went out to cherokee Park road and hit the trail at the Middle Unit. We had an absolute blast yesterday! The Taco handled wonderfully!

Just took the side rail (steps) off my truck... Much more sporty and we clipped a rock with them yesterday (no damage), which was the reason for taking them off. I may be hooked :|

    Hey there,
Just moved from FL to CO this week myself. I also have a 2017 4x4 SR5. I'm located in Boulder so I did some exploring off of Canyon Rd in the Sugarloaf Mountain area. Trail was in pretty bad shape and a lot of sharp rocks but I'm also new to this so maybe I'm over exaggerating the trail. Found a nice little campsite right off the road. I also got KO2 load Es this week so I didn't really worry about the rocks and traction so much.

Any good camping spots along there? I’m not too far from there and with a stock OR.

One spot at end of the right trail that ends at a lake... I'd say it was decent. Fire pits exist.

Cherokee Park Road is a good one. Head up to Red Feather Lakes and take a ride down Deadman Road. Really easy drive, but tons of little spots to camp and explore. Run it up to CR 80C and take a left, head to Laramie River Road (CR 103) and take it down to Poudre Canyon. Beautiful drive!

Since this thread is zombied and no one thought to drop the best of all truth bombs, here goes:

    trailsoffroad.com

I've mapped all but a couple of the trails in Summit County in my stocko-taco. There's SO MUCH out there that ya'll can do without spending any money on mods.

If you decide you have cash burning in your pocket, buy armor first. Sliders firstest of all. (See, I are such a good at English cuz I does right trail reviews.)

Stock Taco can do the majority of the trails in this book...

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
Use caution with any book, they have no way to account for our erosion, etc that can quickly change a mild trail to something else in spots.

But it is good start to finding places to run.

This is the truth! I love the book for quick in the field reference, but also use several apps.
